As you may have heard, this year’s annual WTS conference is in San Diego. WTS International hosts an interactive, three-day conference every year. Transportation leaders from around the world converge, exchange ideas, and learn about the latest developments in transportation.
This is a great opportunity to network in your own backyard with planners and transportation professionals from all over the country. Don’t worry if you can’t afford the entrance fee. You can volunteer and get free entry! Check out the attached preliminar y conference program and see if anything looks exciting.

You do not have to be a WTS member to attend or volunteer.! < /p>
The conference is May 16-18.
To receive free entry for a full day you must volunteer for a full day (8 hours).
Typical shifts will be ~4 hrs
If you cannot volunteer a full day but there is a particular panel or tour you want to attend, volunteer to support that session. (Please keep in mind that there is no guarantee that you won’t be pulled to support another session.)
Volunteers are not guaranteed meals, but are allowed any food once all guests have eaten. (It is a good idea to bring your own snacks).
Volunteers will be required to attend one briefing in March or April by WTS International. There will be a Do wntown and North County option.
If you are interested in learning more or volunteering for a shift, please add your name and information to this google doc. Please forward this sign-up sheet and email to anyone you think might be interested.
