Life as a Public Policy Professional

We have another great event planned for those of you interested in the world of policy! This event is hosted by the Krinsk-Houston Law and Politics Initiative, through the Department of Political Science. This FREE event, “Life as a Public Policy Professional”, hopes to answer your questions, such as:
What does it mean to work in policy?
What do policy makers actually do?

How do I get involved with local politics and policy?

What would a graduate degree in policy teach me? What new career options will that open open?

How can I springboard my policy career?

The evening will involve two panels. The first will discuss local graduate programs in these fields and the types of careers that path can open up. Our second panel will be made up of local practitioners, eager to share their stories of what they do and how they got there.
