Visual Communication & Social Issues Workshop

Media, storytelling, and the propelling of social issues.
Hear from Joshua Henry (Marketing and Communication Manager at The A21 Campaign, an international organization fighting human trafficking) and Amiel Capinpin (UCSD ‘17, Teaching Artist & Media Specialist at Outside the Lens, local education non-profit seeking to empower youth to use digital media to create change within themselves and their world) as they discuss media’s power in propelling social issues.
Josh will be discussing the power of storytelling in reference to the “Can You See Me” campaign & the fight against human trafficking.
