We are excited to welcome Erica Kirk to the Urban Studies and Planning Program.
Erica earned their Bachelors of Science in Cognitive Science with a Specialization in Neuroscience right here at UC San Diego and returned to their hometown of Los Angeles to earn their Masters of Education from the University of Southern California (fight on!).
Erica previously worked at the LGBT Resource Centers at both UC San Diego and USC. They have extensive experience mentoring and supporting students within a university. They specifically enjoy working within the USP program because they get to know students one-on-one and can spend time helping students build their own unique educational experience.
Erica joined us officially on September 25th and has spent that time advising USP students, updating the USP website, advertising the new RED major and minor, and generally supporting the USP Program.
In their free time, Erica likes to spend time outside hiking, swimming, and camping. They have two cats and a very large and excitable black lab.
You can find Erica in the Communication Bldg. (MCC) 122B. For more information on advising in the USP Program, check out the USP website.
